On November 4, 2024, the signing ceremony of the "Keningda Material Award Teaching Fund of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Sichuan University" was held in Room 208 of the Mechanical Engineering Building of Sichuan University. Li Ning, chairman of Chengdu Keningda Material Co., Ltd. and a retired professor of the School of Mechanical Engineering at Sichuan University, and his company's vice president, Liu Hongchuan, and project director, Li Rui, as well as Yang Guang, secretary general of the Sichuan University Education Foundation, vice director of the project department, Jiang Liangxiao, and Gao Qing, secretary of the Party Committee, Zhang Yi, vice dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Yu Deping, vice dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Xiong Ji, director of the professor committee, Dian Guo, and relevant teachers from the Material Forming and Control Engineering Department of the School of Mechanical Engineering were present at the signing ceremony.

      Yang Guang, on behalf of the Sichuan University Education Foundation, expressed gratitude to Chengdu Keningda Material Co., Ltd. and Chairman Li Ning. He emphasized that Li Ning, although he has retired from the teaching and research positions at the college, has always been concerned and supportive of the teachers' training and discipline development of the university. He hoped that this spirit could inspire more Chengdu University alumni to contribute to the development and construction of the university.
